This skirt set turned out pretty cool and the shape is really cute. I also love the colors – light blue, deep green, and maroon. Funky!! The apron skirt is made of two layers. I used a combination of textured light blue linen and a paisley print cotton fabric. The front features a matching paisley mandala applique..made of corduroy and cottons. The edges of the apron and ties are frayed. Above the fraying, I did decorative stitching so it won't fray any longer. The apron comes with the underskirt pictured. It's made of a dark green crinkle cotton and has a ruffle hem. These skirts are super versatile. They can be worn together, or as separate pieces with other items in your wardrobe. The apron can even be worn as a strapless top!
