This set turned out really cool! The apron is double-layered and reversible and can be worn as both a skirt or top. I used a brown and cream floral print for one side and a solid brown for the other. I appliqued a large butterfly applique onto the front of the brown side...check out the close-up pic for details! The bottom edges of the apron and ties are raw-edged. Above the fraying, I did decorative stitching so it won't fray any further. The ties are solid brown, and also trimmed all the way around with decorative stitching. The apron comes with the tiered ruffle underskirt pictured. It's made of a variety of brown solid cottons. The hem is trimmed all the way around with a ruffle. Very cute! Both skirts are super versatile. They can be worn together (the apron as a skirt OR top), or as separate pieces with other items in your wardrobe!
