This is a great year-round dress! Soft green twill bodice is fully lined for a comfy fit. This bodice style is meant to sit above your bust. I've hand-painted and appliqued a lovely mandala onto the bodice. I love the way this looks. The straps offer an adjustable fit by criss crossing and then tying beneath 3 sets of loops. I make my straps nice and wide so they won't dig into your shoulders. The straps are trimmed with decorative stitching. So pretty! The back features my signature closed-back smocking. Super comfortable and since it has a closed-back, you can wear a bra with the dress (if you want to). The skirting is a lovely gently gathered leafy print quilt cotton and slanted patchwork tier blends of purples and greens. Very unique to *BallerinaGrape* :) The patchwork is finished off with more decorative stitching at the hem.
