I love the colour combo in this piece - yummy blue and green goodness! The bodice is made from a soft cotton twill and a beautiful blue, green, and yellow floral print cotton – purchased in Australia! I appliqued a sweet butterfly applique onto the front of the bodice. It was hand cut, heat fused, and satin stitched with blue and green thread. The back has my *ORIGINAL* smocking and lace-up design :) The straps lace-up and tie in a nice big bow in the back to help adjust the dress to your figure. The smocking provides extra adjustability and coverage. The A-line skirting is wonderful green linen. There is also my signature slanted patchwork tiers along with some random patchwork. The patchwork is made up of cotton and cotton blend fabrics including the most beautiful blue/green fabric (see back). The hem has decorative scalloped stitching and will tickle your toes as you twirl about. This is a great dress and you can wear this beauty year-round!
