This beautiful wedding dress is made of purple, green, and blue quilt shop cottons and linens.
The "skirting" part is the most gorgeous variegrated purple. I've appliqued my leaves and vines all across the front, and down the sides. I've also hand-painted lots of butterflies perched onto the leaves!
The bodice is fully lined and darted and made out of soft cotton corduroy. This bodice will give you full coverage. The front of the bodice has a gorgeous applique of a butterfly done in batik cottons.
My *original* and unique smocked backing with corset style lace-up will contour to fit your body perfectly. You can wear a strapless bra with this dress if you want to :) Extremely comfortable!!! *Please note: the dress is a little big on me, the smocking will show better on a larger bust*
The ties lace down the back through 3 sets of loops. They are nice and wide, and longggggggggg! These along with the smocking will give you a perfect fit in the bust! No squishing down!
I hand-painted two butterflies at the back of the dress. They came out soooooo, soo pretty.
The bottom of the dress is done in my unique slanted patchwork tiers design. The dress has a train, which is scalloped edged! I've hand-painted lots and lots and lots of butteflies in the tiers. Beautiful!!!!!!!
