The apron is really cute...and REVERSIBLE!! One side is made from a pink paisley rose print cotton with a beautiful rose applique. The other side is the most beautiful pink and cream butterfly print cotton (probably my most favourite fabric ever) with 3 monarch butterfly appliques. So pretty. The edges have the hand-frayed edging I always love to do, and I have stitched over the edge to keep the hem from fraying any further. I especially love the ties on the apron. They are pink and tie into the cutest bow!
The underskirt is something really special!! It's made from a variety of different pink and maroon-ish fabrics. It is cut longer in the back, and has some smocking at the front. You'll also find patchwork, lots of decorative butterfly stitching, an embroidered rose, an embroidered butterfly, and a sweet ruffle hem with my signature scalloped edge.
Both of these skirts can can be worn together, or as separate pieces with other items in your wardrobe. Again I just love this set - so super sweet and feminine! Totally one-of-a-kind.
