I love this set! I used two different purple fabrics for the underskirt. The colours are most true to life in the 3rd and 4th pictures. The skirt consists of 3 tiers...pieced together in my "slanted patchwork". I love the way this looks...so pretty! :) Comfy elastic/drawstring waistband.
For the apron, I used another two different purple fabrics. I gave the apron a unique mandala applique. This took a longggggggg time to do. But, it was worth it...the applique turned out awesome! :) I've accented the top of the bodice/apron with hand-frayed edging, and some scalloped stitches. The edges of the apron have been hand-frayed...a signature BallerinaGrape technique! The straps on the apron are nice and wide, so you can wear a strapless bra with the top if you decide you want to.
