*I love this set! It can be worn so many different ways. I used the best panda and cherry blossom flower print fabric, and lots of different blue cotton fabrics for the underskirt. The back of the skirt (or front, depending on how you wear it) consists of my signature "slanted patchwork" tiers. Elastic/drawstring waistband. The skirt is cut so that it dips down a little in the back, or front, depending on how you wear it! If you wear the ties at the back, the back of the skirt has a bit of a bustle. So cute!! The hem of the skirt is scalloped edged and accented with decorative stitches.
*For the apron, I used a heavier-weight cotton fabric. On the front I embroidered a panda...and gave it some hand-painted details :) There are are two layers to the apron, the top one is cut in a "V" shape. I've accented the two layers with decorative leaf stitches and ruffles. The bottom layer has a double-layered ruffle...this turned out so pretty and unique! The straps and edges of both layers of the apron are scalloped edged...a signature BallerinaGrape technique :) The straps are nice and wide, they hang wonderfully!!
