*This skirt set is really pretty. I used a variety of blue fabrics for the underskirt. The main fabric is a slightly stretchy cotton blend. The skirt consists of lots of tiers..pieced together in the "slanted patchwork" I like to do. This really makes the skirt so flowy and pretty! :) Elastic/drawstring waistband.
*For the apron, I used some more blue fabrics. There are two layers to the apron...this looks really cool...I love it :) There is a forest/bird scene applique that I've hand-painted on the front. See the close-up picture! I've accented the bodice/apron with some decorative leaf and scalloped stitches. The edges of the apron have been HAND-frayed...a signature BallerinaGrape technique! The straps on the apron are nice and wide, so you can wear a strapless bra with the top if you decide you want to.
