This wrap style skirt is made from an off-white hemp blend and solid cotton fabric. It has nice long ties to keep it securely around your waist.
The off-white is paired with a rainbow variety of fabrics...vintage, calico, quilter's prints, Australian fabrics, and more. The waistband wraps and slips through a satin stitched buttonhole for secure coverage. This skirt will not unwrap on you!!
I appliqued my special vines and leaves all around the patchwork. They're done in a rainbow of colours, that match the patchwork....this came out sooooo beautifully, if I say so myself..hehe
A double-tiered slanted patchwork ruffle will tickle your toes as a hem. As always, my hems are scalloped edged!
~~ The skirt comes with one of my *original* and unique pocket/BAGs! :) The design is a free-hanging pocket that is both reversible (2-in-1!) and removable...once the pocket is removed, it is then convertible into a bag! Neat, huh? The bag is made from wide corduroy, denim and solid blue cotton, and has a drawstring closure to keep your goodies safe. The strap is made of hemp that I HAND-braided. Both bags match the skirt, but can also be worn with other items in your wardrobe!
