I really love this dress!! I used a wonderful vintage cotton in red and white and paired it with a reddish brown fine wale cord. The bodice is fully lined and adjusts via the 3 sets of loops on the backside when laced-up corset style with long straps. The back is my *ORIGINAL* smocking for even more adjustability and coverage (you can wear a strapless bra with this dress, if you want to). The bodice has an applique of 5 mushrooms that I hand-painted. The skirting is gently gathered. I used brown, red, and tan cottons along with a silky cotton blend that I hand-dyed a reddish brown. The hem is my signature slanted patchwork tiers. I also hand-painted 6 different mushrooms onto the tiers. Very unique and beautiful dress!!
