This lovely dress is made from all prewashed, preshrunk fabrics (as with all BallerinaGrape clothing! :) ). I just love the palette of purples and greens. The dress is a full back dress with my unique smocking at the back and criss crossing straps (you can wear a bra with it! or a shirt for cooler days!) that lace down the back through 3 sets of loops for an adjustable fit. The bodice features nice flowy leaf and vine appliques that wrap all the way around. I love the way this came out. The skirting is a medium weight fabric that I hand-dyed a gorgeous purple colour. The bottom half of the skirting is an array of slanted and random patchwork tiers in a variety of purple and green fabrics. So pretty. The dress is designed on an A-Line and has lots of spin!!
