This is such a beautiful dress! It's made from the most beautiful purple fabric with sparkley green and orange threads. The bodice is curtain style so it sets atop the bust and the skirting billows down. It's made from a red-ish brown fine wale corduroy and is fully lined. I hand-painted the unique leaf mandala applique on the front and then did decorative stitching on top. The long straps lace down the back through 2 sets of loops for an adjustable fit. I also did some decorative scallop stitching on the straps. I love the way this came out! The back is a lovely light purple cotton with speckled leaf print. The hem is my signature slanted patchwork tiers and some random patchwork in purples and greens. This dress is adjustable...it has my *ORIGINAL* smocking with lace-up design at the back :) You can wear a strapless bra with this dress if you want to.
